First off, there's 55 Steps to Outrageous Service. It's about customer service and how to satisfy the customer, the employees and meet your bottom line. While the library is not a for-profit organization, we do want to be worthy stewards of the public funds we receive.
Finally, I'm hoping to crack open Nick Vujicic's Life Without Limits. That one links to Amazon because we don't have it at Keene - yet. I'm working on it. The subtitle is Inspiration for a Ridiculously Good Life. From a man who was born without arms or legs, that's a pretty powerful statement. Makes my whining about anything wrong with my life seem petty right now.

Life without Limits is one of the most inspirational and interesting books I've read. Nick Vujicic was born without arms or legs, and yet he is making an incredibly "normal" life for himself. His parents--once they got over their initial shock--told him he could do anything he wanted to do, although they later worried (as parents are likely to do) about some of the decisions he made. But Nick is doing just about everything he wants to.
